About GM 5.0 Construction
An owner-operated painting and remodeling company serving the Bronx, Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, and Long Island.
Our Story
GM 5.0 Construction LLC was built by Gustavo Molina around a simple idea, and it is the one printed under our name: build quality, create trust. In practice that starts with preparation. Fill it, sand it, caulk it, prime it — and only then start painting. It is slower, it is most of the labour, and it is the entire difference between a finish that still looks right in five years and one that starts flashing and peeling by the second winter.
From our base at 2405 Grand Ave in the Bronx we work throughout New York City and out along Long Island — Riverdale, Fordham, and Throgs Neck here in the borough, the Upper East and West Sides, Harlem, and Midtown in Manhattan, Williamsburg, Park Slope, and Bay Ridge in Brooklyn, Astoria, Long Island City, and Flushing in Queens, and across Nassau and Suffolk County. Interior and exterior painting for homes and businesses, plus kitchen and bathroom remodeling, drywall, framing and ceilings, and flooring and tile.
We're a registered New York LLC and owner-operated, which means the person who quotes your job is accountable for it. Every estimate is free and comes in writing with the scope spelled out, so there is no discovering halfway through that the preparation was never included in the price.
What We Stand For
Reliability
We show up when we say we will, and we keep the job moving instead of disappearing mid-project.
Respect
We protect your floors, clean up after ourselves, and treat your home like it belongs to someone we know.
Quality
Straight lines, even sheen, and patches that disappear. We walk every room with you before calling a job finished.
Community
We are Bronx locals working across all five boroughs and Long Island. Our customers are our neighbours, and that shapes how we quote every job.
Our Mission
Give homes and businesses across New York City and Long Island work that is prepared properly, priced honestly, and built to last — and earn the next job by how we did the last one.
Our Promise
The estimate is what you pay. We scope the preparation as well as the coats, put it in writing before we start, and walk the finished work with you room by room before we call it done.
